SIM Caretalyst has been renamed ”OurCaretalyst” to include students from other private universities who share the same passion for community service.
OurCaretalyst’s vision is to empower students to give back to the community for causes they identify strongly with, and to develop programmes which will effect long-lasting benefit on the community.

Some of our recurring projects include ”#YouMatter”, an annual event during which volunteers take time out from the first day of the Chinese New Year celebrations to give out oranges and show their appreciation to bus captains and service staff.
birthday in a box
Another one of OurCaretalyst’s recurring projects is ”Birthday in a Box”, an annual birthday celebration organized for children staying in orphanages in Batam, and inspired by our belief that every child is special and deserves to be celebrated.
